Meet Marie

Marie-Therese Burton was born and raised in Dominica.  I graduated from the Midwestern State University, Texas, with a Master’s in Business Administration and later migrated to the U.S V.I. Art is in my bloodline, which came from my late Grandmother, who I never met, but my love for art was passed down through generations.  My late uncle (Gregory Samuel) who was an accomplished artist inspired me to continue the legacy. He taught me everything about painting while I understudied with him in my spare time.  Most of my art are sceneries of the Caribbean – my home.
